Foundation Announces Henry “Hank” Marvin’s Retirement from Board of Trustees

It is with very mixed emotions the Phi Kappa Psi Foundation announces the retirement of Brother Henry “Hank” Marvin Southern Cal ’56 from the Foundation Board of Trustees. Hank has stepped away from his duties as a Trustee due to personal commitments that require an increasing amount of his time and attention. Hank will remain involved as an active supporter and advisor.

Hank has served the brotherhood tremendously over many decades and the Foundation is very grateful for his service. He brought his years of experience as a decorated individual in the insurance and finance world, serving on numerous councils and boards, and extensive service to and knowledge of the Fraternity, to the Trustee position.

“His warm, friendly and generous spirit, his loyal service, and his visionary leadership will be deeply missed on our Board,” commented Fred Hegele, Foundation Chairman. “Hank is a brother who took his oath to be courteous, cultured and compassionate to heart. Our brotherhood is significantly better due to Brother Marvin’s influence.”

Hank has carried a lead role on the Foundation Board in number of areas — Operations, Insurance and Governance. As he moves on from his leadership role, both the Board and Staff extend great appreciation to Hank for his many contributions.
