Our Mission
The mission of the Phi Kappa Psi Foundation is to foster the development of leaders and promote academic excellence in higher education. The Foundation provides funds for a variety of programs and services which directly affect undergraduates and their chapters, campuses and communities. The primary responsibilities of the Foundation are:
- The support of scholastic achievement among college students through the recognition of academic excellence.
- The promotion of leadership, citizenship and service for personal growth and development and for the continued strength of Phi Psi, our host institutions and society in general.
- The education of undergraduates in the traditions of the Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity, whose ideals and principles can provide a guiding force for life.
- The support of clean, safe and healthy chapter housing, through grants for educational space and technology; and the promotion of living-learning environments conducive to academic excellence.

An outdoor leadership school has always been a big ambition of mine. I’d like to say thank you to the Phi Psi Foundation and the donors for giving me this once in a lifetime opportunity.
Being apart of a brotherhood means that you are well known for your integrity. That when you walk on your campus everyone says, ‘look he’s a Phi Psi, he’s a leader and has strong moral standards.
Phi Kappa Psi means brotherhood to me and to be a gentleman at all times. Thank you to the donors who demonstrated that and for making leadership opportunities possible for brothers like me.
The chapter scholarship I received has eased the financial burden of paying for college on my family and it’s given my parents another reason to love that I’m a Phi Psi.
I am putting myself through college. The Philip M. Cornelius scholarship has helped alleviate that financial burden as I do it all and aim to better myself.
