Richard ‘Rick’ Pill (WVU ’70)
A proud West Virginian and graduate of West Virginia University, Brother Pill has built a career rooted in service, leadership, and dedication to his community. In 1982, he and his brother founded Pill & Pill, PLLC, establishing one of the state’s most respected real estate and settlement law practices. His commitment to West Virginia University has been reflected through service in alumni leadership, on the University’s Board of Governors, and on the WVU College of Law Visiting Committee, earning him recognition as WVU’s Outstanding Alumnus in 2005. Together with his family, Rick established the Richard and Thelma Pill Family Law Scholarship, supporting students with ties to Phi Kappa Psi, Morgantown High School, and First Ward while continuing a legacy of education, service, and brotherhood.
