Applications for the Wineman
Fellowship for International Studies consist of four parts:
- Application
Candidates should complete an online Fellowship application, including
a signed agreement to the terms of the Fellowship.
- Cover Letter
A detailed statement of purpose, no longer than two typed pages
should be sent to the Foundation describing:
- The candidate’s purpose for applying for the Fellowship
- The applicant’s career goals with an AUB graduate degree
- Any relevant experience that has prepared the candidate for this
experience
- Transcripts
Candidates must provide official transcripts from all post-secondary
colleges and universities attended as well as any other degree or certificate
programs. If the transcripts do not confirm graduation, a candidate must
also provide confirmation from their college or university that all graduation
requirements have been met or will be met.
- Recommendations
Candidates must submit two letters of recommendation; one from
an academic source and one from an experienced business contact, both
of whom know the applicant well. These letters should speak to the applicant’s
character and their academic or professional ability and motivation.
The selection process will take place shortly after the application deadline
and will include a review of all materials by the selection committee,
and may also include a personal interview.
