Ben Nicol became the Managing Director in October 2006, having served on the Fraternity and Foundation staffs for several years. Immediately prior to his current position, he served as the Foundation’s Director of Operations. Ben originally joined the Foundation staff to focus on donor communications, chapter scholarship fund support and undergraduate and young alumni programs. Ben began his service to the Fraternity as an Educational Leadership Consultant.

With a strong background in communications, planning and fundraising, Ben is responsible to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Foundation, including long-range planning, staffing, fundraising and marketing communications. He is a graduate of Valparaiso University, as a double-major in Marketing and Public Relations. During his undergraduate years Ben worked for the Valparaiso Alumni Relations and Admissions offices, served as Student Body President and IFC President, as well as President and Rush Chair of his chapter. He also is an Endowment Fund Outstanding Summerfield Scholarship winner.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoys running and watching movies.
